In 2018 at Hambletonian - one of harness racing's biggest events, Standardbred mare Atlanta became the first filly in 22 years to win and clinch the $1 million purse! Hambletonian is a race for three-year-old trotters. Atlanta received the Dan Patch Award for Trotter of the Year in 2018. In 2021 at the Allerage Farms Open Mare Trot at the Red Mile, Atlanta won another title: history's co-fastest female trotter with an incredible 1:49 win! Atlanta is owned by Michelle and Albert Crawford of Crawford Farms LLC. She was originally trained by Rich Zeron and driven by Scott Zeron, with Ron Burke training her from age 4 on. Atlanta retired in 2022 as the 4th richest female trotter with $3.5 million in earnings.
